The sword has a blade with a blood fuller and a cut-out Latin cross of the size of 45 × 20 mm, the vertical part of which is directed toward the guard; there used to be a relic of St. Wenceslas in the gold border of the cross. The blade gradually changes into a narrow tang with a metal guard in the shape of an oval bar. Behind the guard is a wooden grip covered first with brown felt and then with a Gothic fabric decorated with floral ornaments, which probably in 1791 was covered with red velvet decorated with laurel leaves embroidered in silver. The end of the grip has a large pommel made from smoky quartz. The metal sword is 93.5 cm long; the blade without the tang measures 76 cm (a close-up).
